Dr. Julie did her undergraduate work at UW-Eau Claire before starting chiropractic school in 2010. In 2013 she received her degree of a Doctor of Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN, as well as her undergraduate degree in Human Biology. She began her career in Savage, MN as a relief doctor for another doctor who was on maternity leave, and two short months later began at Optima in April of 2014.
Dr. Julie has completed certifications in Nutritional Counseling, State of Wisconsin, American Functional Neurology Institute (AFNI), and Mastering Applied Kinesiology. She has also had numerous post graduate seminars helping her to serve patients of all ages and conditions. Her passion is truly helping her patients understand their health condition, and then teaching them how to move forward and overcome the obstacles in their health journey.
Dr. Julie's roots are on the farm and still enjoys helping whenever she can. She enjoys playing sports, spending time with family and friends, and showing dairy cattle in the summers!
